Lead Out! Shout Out!

Recognition is a powerful action and here’s our monthly “shout out” on individuals making a difference. At least monthly, we will highlight a team member, client group, or provocative trend that models the behavior and practice of appreciation or recognition.

MOLLY LAYCHAK WHALEN

Molly Laychak Whalen is a member of the strategic development team who piloted and designed sensory friendly programming for families with children with special needs at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC area. Molly also helped to create the local efforts of the ArtAbility program, a collaborative arts experience for middle school students with autism; and launched a popular community-based special needs resource fair in the Washington, DC area. She has a passion for improving the environment of special education for all stakeholders, and creating a positive experience for parents and families of children with special needs within the Washington DC metropolitan area educational community.  Most recently her family participated in the International Spy Museum’s first ever “Access to Spy” a sensory friendly experience for local families.
