AJ SCOTT, CPCU

She is actively involved in the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers Association (the Big “I”) at the local, state and national levels.  In 2016, she served as I-Day Chair for the Greater Los Angeles Area (I-Day is a large-scale insurance convention featuring close to 100 exhibitors and over 500 attendees) and was President of the Los Angeles chapter (IIABA-LA), and she has attended the Big “I” Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C. each of the last four years (2013-2016).  She also presented as a panelist at the 2016 IIABCal Blue Ribbon Conference.

AJ Scott joined Timothy Cline Insurance Agency (TCIA) in May 2006, just weeks after graduating Pepperdine University with a BA in English Literature.  As a niche specialist, TCIA insures common interest developments with a particular focus on earthquake coverage (for both associations and building owners).  Mentored by Tim Cline, CIRMS, AJ regularly attends HOA meetings to educate volunteer board members and homeowners about community insurance issues. AJ lives in Los Angeles (Westchester/LAX area) with her husband Nic and their dog Tyrion.
